I grew up just 10 miles west of the House that Ruth Built and cannot count how many games I attended over the years. This was a great ballpark. There were a less than a handful of times I was at the stadium when it was completely empty (off season or team was playing away) and this painting was inspired by those moments.

Elaine has had a passion for painting since she was a young girl. She has worked in corporate America for nearly 30 years and now finds herself semi-retired and reviving the passion by exploring her talents with watercolors. Elaine had previously sketched, charcoaled, painted with pastels & acrylics and now stepping into the lovely feel of watercolor painting. Enjoying life now in Northern KY, but born & raised just outside NYC, she often takes long drives with her camera photographing landscapes and unusual items for subjects.
