About Elaine Duras
Elaine has had a passion for painting since she was a young girl. She has worked in corporate America for nearly 30 years and now finds herself semi-retired and reviving the passion by exploring her talents with watercolors. Elaine had previously sketched, charcoaled, painted with pastels & acrylics and now stepping into the lovely feel of watercolor painting. Enjoying life now in Northern KY, but born & raised just outside NYC, she often takes long drives with her camera photographing landscapes and unusual items for subjects. She adds her personal whimsical touch to each creation. Additionally, Elaine will find inspiration from old photographs from life on the east coast, travels abroad, and sometimes just out of the blue. She has many friends who also enjoy sharing their photos & having them interpreted into the world of watercolors.
